DAI Contributes to KidsBuild 2004

KidsBuild 2004, led by Andrea Spadafora of the Boston Society of Architects (BSA), was held at the Museum of Science in March. The event brought together approximately 2,500 Boston area school children to build a 'box city'. Through this process, they learned how a city is formed through planning, zoning, architecture and more.

As architects, we amass an extensive amount of samples such as carpeting, tiles, and paint chips. KidsBuild 2004 was a terrific venue for these samples to be recycled with the added benefit of children having an extraordinarily fun and informative experience. We look forward to participating in the next event scheduled for March 2006.
