DiGiorgio Associates Inc. (DAI) developed a Facility Master Plan for Loudoun Healthcare Inc. that established the growth patterns and needed transformation to guide this hospital's future mission over the next 10 years. One component of the Master Plan was the development of a Medical Office Building.

DAI and Foulger-Pratt of Maryland implemented the design and construction of this five-story, 100,000 square foot structure. Hospital outpatient activities occupy approximately 50,000 square feet of the building witht the balance of space for physician practices. Outpatient programs include the Mary Elizabeth Radiation Oncology Care Center, an Ambulatory Surgery Center, Vascular Lab, and Cardiac Services with catheterization capabilities. The recently Cancer Care Center has state-of-the-art equipment and healing garden adjacent to its space on the first floor of the MOB. The Ambulatory Surgery Center accommodates four ORs and four Endoscopy Rooms.
