Lakes Region General Hospital      DiGiorgio Associates and Monitor Builders have developed a longstanding relationship with LRGHealthcare that continues to this day. Since the completion of our first major project with Lakes Region General Hospital in 1988 that consisted of 130,00 square feet of additions and renovations, DAI and MBI have completed projects for Women’s Services, MRI, Renal Dialysis, Nuclear Medicine, Oncology, Psychiatry, Special Procedures, and the expansion of Ambulatory Surgery. The combination of a vertical expansion over the lobby and a renovation of the existing unit provided the space for Ambulatory Surgery. Over the past few years, we completed an expansion of the hospital's ED, a renovation and addition for their Women's Center, and a renovation of the Walk-In Clinic.

A $35 million CON for the first phase implementation of the $70 million Facility Master Plan for LRGHealthcare was completed in 2006. Our team assisted the hospital with HUD financing deliverables for the project. A new lobby and patient registration area with connections to the on-campus Medical Office Building are key factors of the design. A 20-bed Elder Care Medical/Surgical Unit and 15-bed Intensive Care Unit with a Progressive Care Unit are planned for the upper floors. This ambitious project will address an aging infrastructure system and increase the hospital's patient volume capacity.
