Dover-Foxcroft, ME Monitor Builders Inc. (MBI) and DiGiorgio Associates Inc. (DAI) were selected by Mayo Regional Hospital to undertake a 36,000 square foot additions and renovations project. This project was paramount to accommodating their increased volume of outpatients and evolve to a state-of-the-art facility. An added benefit of this project would be the hospital's ability to recruit and retain high caliber physicians and staff.
The team of MBI and DAI assisted the hospital and its consultant with modifications to their CoN. These changes were the result of reviewing and updating a previously prepared Master Plan. The programs slated for transformation included expansion of the Emergency Department and a new Resource Building implemented in Phase I. Phase II consisted of an addition for a new Ambulatory Surgical Unit and renovations to Surgical Services, Mammography, and the Pharmacy.
