Saint Elizabeth Home East Greenwich, RI Monitor Builders Inc. (MBI) teamed with DiGiorgio Associates Inc. (DAI) on two projects for The Saint Elizabeth Community. This was the first project. It is a 120-bed nursing home that is divided into three separate units, one each for Transitional Care, Alzheimer's, and Geriatric Care. The residents that moved here are former residents of St. Elizabeth Court, now an assisted living residence.
The innovative design of this facility provides a rich, controlled environment through a concentrated area of common space with a variety of services and amenities for each unit. There are public and private nursing consultation areas available for families, if desired. Saint Elizabeth Home features an 800 square foot chapel, two 160-gallon aquariums and a large outdoor garden with tranquility pond, and dental office.
